Taylor Swift在2010年1月19日，发行了新年的第一首情人节单曲《Today Was a Fairytale》，同时也是2010年2月12日首映的电影《Valentine’s Day 》中的歌曲。与之前的《Love Story》相似，《Today Was a Fairytale》用童话故事做比喻描述了一个浪漫的爱情故事（词没太看明白…）。女主角述说自己强烈的情谊，一直在想今天是个童话。歌词写得十分精彩。

《Today Was a Fairytale》是Taylor Swift的第六首BILLBOARD HOT 100歌曲。
